Yes. Replacing a toilet, a set of taps, a shower or a radiator, or tracing and fixing a leak, are all normal jobs for us. Most of our plumbing comes as part of a bathroom or kitchen, but you do not need to be renovating to call. What we would say is that if a fitting has failed because of what it is connected to, we would rather tell you that than replace the same part again in a year.
Yes, and a renovation is by far the best time to do it. Moving a radiator to a sensible wall, or adding one to a room that never had enough heat, means running pipework, which is much easier while floors are up. We will also tell you if the existing system genuinely has the capacity for another radiator rather than just adding one and letting the far end of the house go cold.
Gas appliance work goes to a Gas Safe registered engineer, and we arrange that rather than working around it. Everything either side of the boiler, the pipework, the radiators, the cylinders and the controls, is ours. If your renovation involves a boiler move or a replacement we will build the engineer's visit into the programme so it happens at the right point rather than holding up the rest of the job.
Yes, and the first job is finding it properly rather than opening up the whole room on a guess. Water travels along joists and pipes, so the damp patch on a ceiling is a starting point, not an answer. Once it is found you get told what it will take to put right and what the making good involves, because on a hidden leak the repair is often the small part and the floor or ceiling is the big one.
Yes. Tiling, plastering and joinery are in-house too, so a job that involves lifting a floor or opening a wall gets put back properly as part of the same visit. That is the practical argument for using one team: nobody is left with a hole in a tiled wall waiting for a tiler to have a free morning.
Yes. Electric showers, mixer showers, pumped systems and hot water cylinders are all regular work, usually as part of a bathroom. The thing worth deciding early is what pressure and flow the house actually has, because that decides which sort of shower will work in it. We check that before you buy rather than after you have been disappointed by it.
